Important qualities of a partner

I do not care who I end up with, as long as they can use a can opener, open jars for me, and can put the ham on my sandwiches. As pathetic as it sounds I can do non of those things on my own. For some reason, I can't figure out how to work a friggin can opener. I have weak noodle arms so no pickles for me (sad face). Aaannndd, I cannot stand the feeling of ham.

Are there any "important" qualities you would like your partner to have? Obviously, I'm looking for silly, ridiculous things like mine, or serious ones if you like.

 

Trust, without it the relationship is a dead one sooner or later.

 

I need somebody who is able to remove spiders and insects in the house/apartment, and can carry heavy objects. I am absolutely and irrationally terrified by spiders, and I have no arm strength whatsoever (or any strength, for that matter). I can't even do a push up. :dry:

 

Huh, a number of things:

-Somebody who I can confide in, who understands me, that I can trust, and vice-versa, and communicate with on a deep, emotional level

-Somebody with a sense of fun, adventure and creativity

-Somebody who loves to explore sex, and try new things.

Well, my partner is almost all these, except I think I'm twice as horny, but you can't have everything! Maybe I'll get him some of them prescription penis pills. =p

 

Actually my brother just asked what I would want my partner to be like. Specifically he asked if I could be in a relationship with someone who doesn't go to university. And actually I think that is the most important quality for me, I really want my boyfriend to be highly-educated. I study in university myself and I think I'd have hardly anything in common with a guy who quit studying after he turned 18. Our lives would just be completely different.

One important thing is that he wouldn't smoke. I dated a guy for a couple of weeks, until came out that he smoked. Really, I know nothing as disgusting as smoking.

Haha yeah those are actually quite important, but if I had to say an "important" quality.. Hmm.. Well if he knew how to drive a car, that'd be great. I have a lisence, but I'm the worst driver in the world so a personal driver would be great!

 

-Someone supportive of me, who I can be support for.
-Having a backbone is a plus
-Smart (I don't mean noble-laureate, but someone who's not an idiot.)
-Generally responsible and fiscally responsible
-Kind
-Gets my humor

One a serious note, someone who challenges me to be a better person. I want to change and evolve hopefully for the better.

On the silly side, someone who can will eat the mushrooms I abandon on my plate.

Fun but 'important':
Someone who will leave me alone and appreciates pillow forts and conversation more than sex

Seriously:
Someone who understands their own emotional responses, stablity (financially, emotionally), intelligent

- Someone who likes to cuddle.
- Can deal with my mood swings and not get whiplash

Someone who is capable of deep intellectual, philosophical conversation. Someone who can penetrate deep into my thoughts and understand things on a profound level. Someone who will never judge me just for being; someone who will challenge me to be the better version of myself. Someone who makes me want to care for them, and go out of my way for them.

Such a person would be beautiful.
