I'm studying to be a child care worker.
I really wish i was studying to be a paramedic, but i'm having difficulties in getting to that.

I am studying to be a microbiologist.

I'm studying history, education, and psychology. I also work part-time as a substitute teacher.

Guess i wasn't really sure of what i wanted to do.

I am trying to just get through high school. Mostly because when I graduate, I will be old enough to go wherever I want (preferably a good distance from my parents).

My best friend is @ university studying high school teaching.
I see him barely ever anymore.

Is teaching a hard subject? My friend seems to do pretty well...

Right now my education classes are just a lot of busy work. Not hard, just time consuming.

From my experience, education classes are a joke and compleyely useless (but unfortunately required). I would do so much better with content based classes like history or psychology and without the education classes. they definitely don't help you become a better teacher. Not in my opinion at least.

The assignments i'm doing for childcare atm are really time consuming also because there all about cleaning and correct hand washing.
I've had to know it for the 5months ive already been there, so it's kind of wasting time i could be studying the other things i haven't encountered.

I totally agree. They seem pointless here too. They only great thing about our education program is that we get a lot of field experience. But I can BS almost any test or paper that we have in there.

wow seems like everyone is going into education...

i'm trying to survive highschool and get scholarships for college. just one more year left idk what i'm gonna major in though. education is an option because i do a sht load of volunteer work with kids and i enjoy working with them. but i'm thinking more about graphic arts.
