I've heard a couple of people complain about the pride flags saying that they are all too stripey. So I decided to make a new pansexual pride flag. I hope you like it.

Can you tell me if thhis is good? Any other pride flag revisions are welcome.

Aren't all the pride flags stripey? That means that we are all part of one community. ^^

Those garish colors! I prefer the original pan flag much better, sorry to say.

    What's wrong with stripey?
The shape and patterns don't really come off to me as being a flag at all. o-o''

It could be okay if it was flag-shaped. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I don't follow the flags besides the rainbow gay flag though, which I find to be the umbrella of LGBT.

I don't like it. It doesn't really look like a flag, and those colours...

It reminds me of the show Four Square.

I'm sorry to say that I find the colours way too bright, they actually hurt my eyes (but they are sensitive so it's to be expected :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: ).

To those saying the flag is not stripey, or doesn't resemble a flag, you might want to look to other flags out there:

    Flag of Bhutan

    Flag of Kiribati

    Flag of Nepal

    Flag of Panama

Please don't think that flags need to be stripey. Educate yourself on the matter first before saying such a thing. =)

For me the colors are a bit too intense and the overall design reminds me a bit too much of a dice with 5 dots. You should also better align the circles (try to use some guides or calculate). Maybe you should refine this project a bit and them make another try?

Was there anyone saying that its lack of stripes made it un-flag-like? I think it was more because it was a weirdly-proportioned rectangle than anything. But that is forgivable because the initial design can be squished to fit any ratio.

The reason those flags you linked to are attractive is because they closely follow the rule of tincture from heraldry; essentially, they don't use a million colors and the ones they do use look good together. White or yellow next to darker colors makes for good contrast.

(Any excuse to bring that topic up as I love it :love:slight_smile:

No, no one said that, but then for you... Did I say that people said that "because" it lacks stripes, it's not a flag? I was only stating that there are many more possibilities than a striped flag. And I chose some "different" flags to show that this design is not that odd.

The last "please don't think that flags need to be stripey" was for those who may have thought about that (and believe me, I've heard this in real life). If I used "please don't say that flags need to be stripey", I would definitely have been incorrect. But I didn't say that, because I'm well-aware that no one said that specifically.

P.S. I know about that topic and I do find it interesting too. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
