I just realized that I want to be a songwriter and artist when I grow older. And I know, it's such a cutthroat industry, but I am so passionate about it It just feels so incredible to just feel so strongly about something What are you passionate about?
I have always been passionate about Japanese culture/language and, in the last 4 years or so, education! It's an incredible thing to follow your passions, and a horrid thing to put them at a lower importance in favour of comfort or lack of confidence. I know my dad put his passions aside because of lack of confidence and "following the path laid out for everyone" (a.k.a.: married his high school sweetheart, got a house, dog, and had kids). Seeing that, my sister and I have both followed our passions despite criticism, doubt, etc. SO DO IT!!! P.S.: I love this speech by Sir Ken Robinson on passion btw, check it out! Make sure to have a backup plan just in case you happen to stumble upon a writers block. It is always a good idea to have something to fall back to, even if it is something you hate doing. Do some research about how the situation in these fields is as well, before plunging in. I personally am passionate about, nothing.
Same I love playing the guitar and singing (as well as other instruments) and i love writing lyrics/poetry. It's a difficult field to get into, but my only other interests include other fields that are difficult to get into xD I love science, and learning more about debating, specifically religion and other sensitive topics. Art and writing in general are some of my other passions Hopefully our dreams shall come true
