Your Last Meal

    Now, the subject of death is never a fun one to explore but if you knew when you were to soon die, for whatever reason, what would you want your last meal to be? Would you want to eat just one thing? Or would you have a huge feast to celebrate your life one last time? Would you eat foods you never did before, just to try them? Or stick to the things you loved eating in life?

    For me personally, I would have a feast and invite everyone I could to enjoy it with me. It would feature a lot of my favorite meals, I imagine a buffet style affair. I'd have to have my mom's Chicken and Dumplings, my Grandmother's Seafood Gumbo, Various Curries, especially ones I've never tried, a Slater's 50/50 B-B-B-Bacon Burger, various flavors of boneless and on the bone wings, Fried Okra, Fried Green Beans, pizza topped with, chicken, bacon, canadian bacon, pineapple, black olives, green olives, gyro meat, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, kale, shrimp and artichokes, A gyro sandwich from a restaurant in my home town called "The Greek House" pretty much has to be from there :grin:, various kinds of Sushi, basically everything I can think of that I REALLY enjoyed in my life up till that point! Most of it stuff I wouldn't normally have on a regular basis xD But if I was dying, who cares? :lol:

    What do you all think? What is your fantasy last meal like? :slight_smile:

    This guy has the right idea.

    If we can exploit that loophole, I'd want an endless buffet.

    But I'm going to assume we can't do that, and we will still be executed. If this is indeed the case, I'd want my last meal to be a bullet.

    I'd rather take my own life, than let somebody take it for me. I'll be damned if I give up what little power I have.

    dayummm...that's deep :lol:

    My last meal would be something with my dad and brother. I wouldnt really care what the actual meal is, because my dad is an amazing cook and i know he wouldnt let me down.

    I'll take a peanut butter sandwich and die from anaphylaxis before something else kills me :lol:

    Or some other meal I've never been able to have before because of allergies. Just a huge buffet of it.

    A bunch of random unrelated foods I love. Rice, olives, cherries, a root beer float, cheese, Pocky, a giant chocolate chip muffin, ham, nachos, pizza, chocolate, a big soft pretzel with cheese, salami, and taiyaki.

    Geez, now I'm hungry. :confused:

    Its a special sandwich called "Francesinha". It is basically a sandwich with a special sauce. The sandwich's main ingredients are ham, tons of cheese and a rare juicy steak. Some people like to put frankfurters and fried egg on top of it.
    The sauce is a complex mix of ingredients. Water, Milk, Beer, Whiskey, Port wine, Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo and spices.

    It sounds strange. But it's perfect.

    Er... I wasn't necessarily referring to being executed, although that is a possibility I was thinking more of like a terminal illness or something. It's a purely hypothetical scenario that only assumes you're going to die and this would be your last meal. Not that you are going to be executed by someone. That detail though, is rather left to the imagination as it distracts from the main question of what you'd honestly want your last meal to be. :kiss:

    Mind you I'd rather immortality but what can you do? :lol:

    If I could, I would have at least a bit of every food I have ever liked. But I feel like there would probably be time constraints to this meal, so I would be happy with white rice and vegetable tempura with tiramisu for dessert. And strawberry milk. Because you know, strawberry milk is just fabulous. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
