    None!

If you can add French Toast to the battle, I would vote for it tho'.

I was going to say pancakes, but the kind I'm thinking of aren't quite the same because over here we tend to make them thinner and bigger in circumference which means you can put your chosen topping down the middle and roll it or fold it up.

So in terms of American style pancakes vs waffles (do we get to see them have a fight?!) I'll say both.

Basically, they are both made with the same batter mixture, they are just cooked on different surfaces.

Although I love both I pick waffles, because they are crunchy and I like crunchy.

Provided they aren't overcooked - waffles all the way!

Waffles I suppose..(am I waffling?), mainly because they are designed to keep the syrup stuck in those neat little divots, instead of sliding off and ending on the plate...

    Pancakes.

    Waffles are too heavy.

I'm a proud member of Team Waffle. My only shame is that Waffle House is in places where I'm not welcome in.

Waffles! Pancakes are just a little much for me. But Like White Knight said, if french toast was also a choice, I'd vote for it over waffles.

Prefer the crunchiness of waffles over the softness of pancakes. Still dig pancakes tho.

I love both, but waffles have a fabulous texture that makes them appeal to me more. I don't have waffle maker and pancakes only need a frying pan, so I don't have waffles often at all.

Waffles. They're actually one of my fave foods. Crunchy and awesome.
