...if you aren't happy in your own atm. or simply you're willing to experience different culture even if you like your country? I am still hesitating between Israel and Japan, though my "heart is in Japan" so to speak.

Been there done that - I moved to Germany two months ago.

If I move to another country I would either move back to the Netherlands or move to Stockholm, Sweden.

South Africa, specifically Cape Town. That's one of the biggest great white hot spots, and that's what I want to study. Or Australia. Or New Zealand.

^ I envy such replies, if anything for the ability of some people to exist in such cold environments.

I am more like a reptile . Can't survive in a place without palms...or any place whose average temperatures fall under 8 C in January (or in July if we're talking Australia here...). Speaking of which: Australia was yet another option that had tempted me for a while - the only 3rd I'd remotely consider...still need more data though...

I want to move somewhere filled with volcanoes, where English is the language spoken and gay marriage is legal. It's all I'm asking for, really.

Surely many people over there speak english and they have volcanoes...no idea of the legalization though .All I know about Iceland: i read somewhere their PM was a lesbian, so *fingers crossed* that it's legal.

My bad - just googled it...yes - gay marriage is legal over there but their PM is definetly not a lesbian. Not because I am homophobic or anything but...because their PM is a guy . Damn I am sure I read about some Scandinavian country whose prime minister or president was lesbian, but anyway.

Hawaii? Part of the US: The land of the random gun shootings and the people who believe that earth started 5000 years ago...sure there are many positive things about the U.S. but still.

I live in Canada... It's too cold here :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. -40 in winter is not a good experience. However I probably wouldn't want to move. If I had to I would probably pick New Zealand just because it's moderately warmer and they generally have a moderate government.

6,000 years actually. But that's beside the point. Hawaii is a peculiarly different state. It's also very expensive to live there since so much has to be imported.
