    Hey all!

I was wondering lately whether I was the only one or not... For some reason, I like certain letters more than others. I don't have a favourite letter, but I really like the A and Q. I also like the S and T a lot. It even comes to the point that I don't like certain letters much, such as the B. From other alphabets, I like the Ç, Æ and Ẽ a lot. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Do you have a favourite letter, or do you prefer some more than others? It can be any alphabet. :icon_bigg I look forward to hearing your opinions!

Not just you. In the English alphabet, V is my favourite consonant because it's the first letter of so many strong and descriptive words. My favourite vowel is I.

It isn't just you. B is also one of my least fave letters. The hell if I know why though!

Which letters do I actually like?

    UPPERCASE
    A because it's first.
    D sounds strong.
M and W look like teeth or spikes.
R is the most fun to write.
S looks cool. I have to remember to write S with round edges, because my handwriting can almost make it appear like a messed-up Z.

    lowercase
e because there's a damn good reason I usually say it first during hangman.
g and y can be fun to write in cursive.

Although, most of all; I like the blank tile. Scrabble.

I really like writing ß. It's just so, I don't know, round yet not round?

I remember when I was a kid, having an obsession with the letter "H".

I really like "X", "Æ", and anything with umlauts or tildes over it.

I think my favourite letter is Y for sure. I also like K but other than that I don't really care for any other letters.

When I had changed my name I actually picked a first name with both Y and K in it on purpose.

    J and L.

    J for Jack .
L because it's the first letter of the 3 different town/cities I have studied in and I might try and continue this trend just for the sake of it.

I really like the letter δ (delta), because I once owned a Lancia Delta and I loved it.

The capital δ, ∆, is pretty awesome as well because alt-J and because triangles.

    In Latin alphabet I like S, é, and æ

In Japanese I especially like み and the obsolete characters ゐ and ゑ

But of course, this is not to mention all the beautiful kanji

Strangely, though I consider Tengwar to be by far my favorite linguistic script, I can't think of one particular Tengwa that I absolutely love. It's more the entirety of it I guess.

So, with that considered, I would say ø from Norwegian/Danish/Faroese/some Sami dialects.

Looks cooler when it's bigger though - like:

    ø

    ----------------

Also, looking at Kaiser's Ksi (ѯ) makes me remember the Greek Xi - ξ
    or to show it better:

Which is also a letter used to indicate "extent of reaction" in ChemE/BioE, which I will always think of fondly because my Fundamentals Professor always called it "squiggle."

The letter ''S'' is my favorite, for the curves :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Other than that, I love the letters ''I'', ''J'' and ''X''. (Note how my chosen name doesn't have any of those letters in it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)
I don't really care for the others.

In French, I kind of like the letters with ''¨'', which means ''Ï'' and ''Ë''. They just look cool, I guess.

I also like the crossed ø from the Scandinavian languages.
