Valentines day

Me and my best friend have made a little plan that we have to act as much like a couple as possible on that day, see how many of our other friends think that we are in a relationship. xD

 

Going to make heart shaped chocolates, sell it as double price to people for their loved ones. I love Valentines.

 

My birthday is the 13th so I think the plan is to have a super awesome 2 days lol. Going to see 50 Shades, the new 3ds and mh4u comes out so we'll play that too. Not sure what else.

 

I'll probably give my imaginary boyfriend an imaginary card and an imaginary gourmet dinner.

 

I have to make cheesecake--mainly because I have a heart-shaped springform pan that I want to keep and anything we don't use for a year my partner is always trying to get us to give away. I'm pretty sure on Valentines Day it will be exactly a year since I last used it so it's use it or lose it time.:lol: We'll probably cook a nice meal together and then, well, we shall see...

 

I think I will give my girlfriend a card... I know, very original.

 

There are only 3 things singles do on Valentine's Day
Option 1: Angst and melancholy, staying alone at home
Option 2: "Valentine's Day is just a card company holiday/Valentine's Day objectifies [gender]/ Valentine's Day forces unrealistic standards" All said while out with single friends pretending they don't care/
Option 3: Desperately try to find a boy/girlfriend.

I'll probably do option 1.

 

There can be another one:
seeing it as opportunity to do something nice for someone.

Random acts of kindness, so to speak.
Try it, it can be fun

 

Single. And nothing... nothing at all. If someone says "Happy Valentines Day", then I will reply with, "At least you're happy. Now, go away."

 

You mean "Forever Alone Day"? I'll do what I always do on February 14th: Crawl into a ball, cry, and listen to angry alternative rock/metal music. The next day, I'll buy all the Valentines candy at half price and pig out.

Single. Me and myself will share a bottle of Veuve and a box of chocolates.

I'm kidding. Actually, my sister has a science fair to go to that day and I'll probably try to score with a young, hot science teacher :lol:.

 

As tempting as that sounds...

... I think I'm going to do something new this year, for Valentine's Day. Usually, I do nothing out of the ordinary. On those rare exceptions, it's pretty simple. Candy in a bath set basket.

Chocolate while you get silky smooth skin?

Who wouldn't like that? Even if candy and bath products aren't your thing, it's a gift. Lol.

This year, I think, I'm going to buy some cheap heart-shaped chocolate boxes, maybe 5-10 of them, and just give them to 5-10 random people.

Too much damn sadness on that day.

What I usually do on Valentine's Day ... I ignore all the hoopla and I'm good to myself.

Let's see. It falls on a Saturday this year. There is a decent BBQ-type buffet I know of and that I like.

 

Well, I will have to see how our date goes on Friday, being we are meeting each other for the first time. Could be very eventful though.
