I have a male dog thats about 1 and a half. Back when he was a puppy, before we got him neutered, I saw him having sex with the male neighbor-dog. It was kind of funny. Have any of you had gay pets before?

Not me, personally, but I wouldn't say I saw them act straight either.

One of my friends, though, has some examples. My friend's rabbit would try to hump my rabbit. They were both female. Mine would get so angry at her xD. Her dog also tries to hump his own son...

My dog is afraid of other dogs so he never shows any sign of being straight or gay. If he sees a dog he runs away at full speed! So... yeah...

What? Hey, I'm supposed to be the lesbian bunny!

I'm fairly sure one of our cats was lesbian or at least somehow female-inclined. When one of the others was in season she would rush over and bite her at the back of her neck (which is what the males do) climb on top and start doing these wiggling motions. Then she would look confused as if she wasn't sure what to do next, and end up climbing off and walking away. Later however she did start following up her humping by licking the other female cat you-know-where. She didn't seem to mind at all, except when she would occasionally bite then she really got annoyed!

Male rabbit humped another rabbit, but I don't believe he was "gay". Animals hump and perform sex acts on other animals to exert their dominance and power.

My ex's dog and mine were always called the gay boys. They took turns humping each other all the time.

My dog does that as well. It's very funny. They're not very private about it...

Well...it's hard to say with our boys. They've been together since birth. Canines, to be clear. Anyway...they're all the time licking each other penises and doing "gross" stuff that Mommy-eyes don't want to see. Hahaha.

My dog is fixed but he still tries to hump any female dog he meets.

    So no.

Don't think humping always means romantic or sexual attraction for animals.

There was a wild dog who kept trying to hump me once. No idea of gender, wasn't paying attention to that. I just wanted him/her to stay off me! Lol.

My dog humps people all the time.
I agree that humping has a different meaning for animals. Although my dog was having some sort of weird doggy anal sex with another boy.

I had gay guppies, or at least bisexual guppies.

Some background information: guppies (fish) impregnate females by chasing and swimming up close to them and bending their gonopodium (basically their penis) into the female's vagina (idk the fishy equivalent)... usually in a rape-ish manner. I've had male guppies go up to other males and do this. Some male guppies I have had actually tended to do this quite often to males, while other males only really did it to females. When I kept only male guppies alone without females they tended to do this more often...

That's the extent of my gay pets! You can get lesbian angelfish (which unlike guppies don't just have sex every which way) but thankfully I have never gotten any (lesbian pairs lay eggs but the eggs can't get fertilized and die so basically are useless if you want babies).

I used to have gay rabbits. They enjoyed each other's company and rarely do two male rabbits get along. One died and the other one was given away when we moved into the city.

I don't think my dog was gay, but she kept humping our other female dog.

My dad had a dog that we swore was transgender. It was a female, but acted dominant and would hump every dog it didn't want to attack.

A friend of mine thinks one of her dogs is a lesbian. Apparently she growls at any male dog she meets and humps the other dog, who is female. Kind of funny.

My grandma has a German Shepard who used to try to hump the other dog, a Labordor. Both were female. Used to joke that the German was a lesbian. Well, eventually we trained her out of it, but mostly because she was pissing off the Laborador, who was elderly. Joke's on the German Shepard. My female beagle mix now tries to mount her.
