I was in Zumba class yesterday noticing how few people really have dancing ability. In the class of 12 I'd say only 2.5 could dance well and look good, the instructor, a lady who had to be at least 80, and another who wasn't half bad.

The rest of us were having a great time, but when they brought out the video camera I had to cringe since I was in the front row.....

    So who can dance?

I probably wouldn't win a competition, but I can wiggle and jiggle, shake and break, move and groove, when I want or need to.

    LOL.

I would say I can dance and but I'm not the most skilled in the world. With average dance music, I dance like everyone else, but when it comes to classical and epic music I can actually move to that as well, I could do the old dance styles like the tango, you would just have to teach me exactly where to step in those dances cause I let myself run free a lot.

To shorten this, I go with the flow of the music and let my body move. Also when dancing to any rap, I just dance like the female because it feels awkward just trying to be gangsta.(meaning I shake my ass when the guy says Shake dat ass)

Not this girl. Once I went to a party and everyone was dancing, so I tried too and then everyone looked at me. The room went almost completely silent... then everyone started laughing.

I wish. I really am horrible when playing Just Dance. If I can't play that well, then following actual choreography would be impossible.

DDR is so much easier, but that's not really dancing. You just need to be quick on your feet :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

That's really funny, yuricore! You're too young to remember the Seinfeld episode with Elaine dancing on the videotape. If anyone else remembers it, that would be me!

Also so many guys would laugh at me when I actually danced to rap music. Everyone would laugh.

    Before anyone can post this.

I can if I want to but that doesn't mean I am a good dancer.

Story time! A few years ago, a pal of mine invited me to her school's Winter formal, as her date. It is key to note that she goes to a highschool which is majorly attended by talented, privileged art students. In short: I boogied, all of her friends (conveniently trained in the dancing arts) laughed at me. My poor choice in formal wear was also mocked, but that's a different story.

Dancer girls tell me I'm bad, but my long-standing highscore on Dance Central 2 says otherwise.

    I can dance

Dancing is one of my hobbies--I'm in a hip hop dance class. I'm not the greatest at it, but I think I'm pretty good. I love dancing to choreography.

I like to think that I'm a good dancer. Mostly with pop music and the like. I can show you up with some dubstep, though.

    I can 6 step
Yep, that's it. Otherwise I look like this:

I feel my talent (what little of it that I have) is more aimed at contortion rather than dance.

I like contemporary dance and I'm not too bad at it. But the type of dance you do at parties... no... just no...
However I try it, every time. It's fun.
