When did you realize

When I was 11.

Tough question. I probably knew from a young age that I was a bit 'odd'. I think I remember, when I was 10, I admitted to myself that I was probably gay. Then, I went into denial. I eventually gave up on being straight and decided I must be nothing. A couple of months ago, at the age of 21, I decided it was OK to be gay, and admitted to myself (rather than'realised') that I am gay. Now, I'm starting to think I might be a bit weird. Maybe I have a hormonal imbalance or maybe I am a bit repressed and it'll all fall into place eventually.

 

By 14 I had the signs but I chose to block them out. Didn't accept myself until I was 20.

 

When I was 11...

 

In hindsight I've known since I started feeling about people that way. However I didn't allow myself to accept such an idea until last year.

 

I knew since puberty that I was transgender.
As I saw girls becoming more feminine and guys becoming masculine I knew, I felt so wrong, so sick of my body.

 

When I was 14.

 

I think I realised around 11 or 12, but I didn't accept it until I was 15 and I wasn't ok with it till I was 19.

I've felt like this my whole life but I realized I was trans at 14, and gay at 15.

 

I had an inkling of an idea in eighth grade. Took me a while to really decide that that was what I was though.

 

When I was 11

 

Not fully until I was in my 20s, but I've always felt some feelings toward guys since puberty kicked in.

 

Attracted to boys at 11-12 I think. Accepted myself at 17

 

Confused/ambiguous in middle school. First realised I wasn't straight freshmen year of high school. Currently still in the process of finding out where I stand orientation-wise.

 

Around 11 or 12 looking at cute shirtless guys in the locker room. At first I thought it was common because I was horny as could be, but eventually I understood not a big percentage of boys check out other boys so lustfully.

 

I was nine (9) when I had a crush on my neighbor. From there on, I knew. I accepted this at sixteen (16) and came out within three months.
