Is this rainbow love shirt a little too much?

Some background context: In regards to the upcoming decision by the Supreme Court here in the United States to determine if same-sex marriage is protected under the 14th amendment, my gay pride has risen once again. It seems many political commentators are predicting the court to include same-sex marriage under the 14th amendment, especially after its recent decision with Alabama.

On the day that the court announces its decision (if it sides with same-sex marriage), I think I'd like to wear some extra pride stuff to school. What do you think about this shirt?

I like the grey one specifically. While I do occasionally wear a rainbow bracelet to school, I've never really been one to explode with gay pride lol. Do you think this shirt is too much, like would you wear it?

Honestly I expected the whole thing to be rainbow by your description XD. The heart may be a bit much, but the whole thing is a little understated and really cute. I'd wear it.

I think it's perfect! Not over the top, not too subtle. Go for it, brother!

It's not bright enough to blind someone, and there aren't any glitter cannons, so it's not too much, haha. <3 Personally, I really like it, and I'd definitely wear it~

I'd wear it. It's really cute and shows support for gay rights without being over the top

I don't think its "too much" per se (its not garish or hideous or anything), but its a bit "obvious", as in very unoriginal. If I saw someone wearing it I would probably think it looked a bit naff but then I don't wear anything pride related and hate the rainbow flag, so. Mind you having a quick search I think this ones quite cool:

    http://cbp.s3.amazonaws.com/img/0/0...l-and-riot-unisex-mountain-t-shirt-grey-d.jpg

They do some other gay themed tshirts too:
LGBTQ merchandise, gay rights & transgender rights t-shirts, god hates bags, political graphic tees « Revel & Riot

More subtle and more thought gone into them than simply slapping a rainbow flag in a heart (which looks a bit like commercial exploitation to me!).

Its up to you though. The important question is this: do you like it? If yes, go for it. Wear it as fashion. But if you are looking at it gaining positive attention or somehow changing people's minds I wouldn't waste your money. If you are out people probably already know you are gay, particularly if you wear a pride wristband anyway. I don't really see the point in going overboard.
