For as long as I can remember, I have been scared of deer. Just your average white tailed deer. They scare the shit out of me for no explainable reason. And I live in a mostly rural Michigan town which means every night there are atleast 5 (usually more) deer just hanging out in my backyard. I've gotten used to them from a distance and kinda of enjoy the sight of them, but I still have this overwhelming fear of them when ever I am near them without anything in between us.
Does anyone else have an unusual & irrational fear?

I hate things like old newspapers, books, fossils (they're probably the worst), photos. Anything with a history that I don't know about really makes me feel uncomfortable and anxious.

    - Moths for me are the worst. It can be the tiniest house moth and I will nearly have a heart attack trying to kill it.

    - Crickets or Grasshoppers. This is a relatively new irrational fear, a lot of it has to do with their look in general. Sometimes crickets will appear in the basement, particularly in the bathroom and though they're good for killing moths and spiders, they're also very vicious in ways.

    - Injuries. Things like cut off limbs or giant gashes or bruises, I can't stand.

    - Trains. This'll probably sound really dumb, but I believe that I was killed by a train in a past life. Every time I hear a train whistle blow, I have this instant reaction of panic and I have no idea why.

I have a fear of spiders, they scare the day lights out of me.
I am also afraid of never being good enough. I want to have normal relationships with friends and family, but I am afraid that I will never be good enough for them.

Drunk people, Im very very uncomfortable around them. Especially when their face is red and they are starting to become aggressive. I even walk out in one of my father's birthday party just because this one drunk guy just started shouting.

I'm sometimes scared of falling asleeo because my breathing slows down and I'm afraid I'll just stop breathing and wake up suffocating. I guess my irrational fear is just not being able to breath. It really scares me sometimes, but I don't know if it counts.

I can relate to this, but I don't think it's irrational. Some people just dislike it if unpredictability occurs in drunk people. That's what I dislike about it because anything else can only affect the person who's drunk and not me (I mean after-effects and other things)

I guess my irrational fear is being outed by someone monitoring my activity... in whose interest would that be possible?

Water, purely because of the Babliosaurus, Plesiosaur and other sea based dinosaurs which may still be alive and lurking beneath the surface. I know it's stupid, but when you think how huge the sea is, and how we have only discovered about 2% of it, it is a possibilty

Yup, this, I guess I wouldn't be the first to say so ^^ Tip: Never. Ever. Watch the movie Starship Troopers. That plus a severe dose of morphine hallucinations (hospital) were what landed me with cronical arachnophobia .-.

I'm... afraid of wigs. I have no idea why, the just seem so scary and gross. One time, there was a wig in front of my bedroom door, so I wouldn't go into my room until somebody moved it. Haven't told my family about it because they would prank me with them all the time. The fear also extends to fake mustaches.

Cockroaches, snakes, spiders (although I love destroying their webs).

I am easily grossed by small dead animals. I in no way will pick it up if need and would need somehelp. Oddly enough a dead deer or bear does not gross me out but small dead animals do. I would literally walk on the other side of the sidewalk when i knew a dead animal was there. Very irrational i guess.

Snails. I used to have nightmares about huge, man-eating snails.

I absolutely hate getting grease on clothing, and can't stand having it on my hands for long. One of my quirks is that I love washing greasy dishes.
Same here. None of my friends get aggressive or violent when they're drunk (thankfully), but their behavior scares me nonetheless because it's so uninhibited.
This dredges up some...interesting memories of alcohol-related emesis (not mine, but others'), that I now realize may have contributed to my likely emetophobia. I get tense on flights and bus rides for this reason, and I've sworn never to go on a cruise ever again. I'd rather go through another anesthetic-free tooth extraction than be on a cruise ship full of people with stomach flu.
