Mine is when straight people asume all gay men are feminine.

I had to check what "pet peeves" mean. Funny word.

The same thing annoys me as well. Masculine = must like girls. Feminine = must like boys.

"So are you boy or the girl in the relationship?"
"Oh, really, you're gay? Because you don't act gay at all."
"Nothing changes between us but I won't promote personally."

I hate when people think that LGBT people will automatically be best friends just because they're both LGBT. Ummm, no. If you're a cool person I'll like you - but just because we both enjoy the D... Doesn't mean squat!

How many LGBT can sit there and shun others based on things like race or ethnicity(or even other letters in the 'community', surprisingly) yet somehow want in on the whole acceptance from society thing... This is one of my main things that truly gets under my skin.

So you, someone who's likely gone through a crap ton of shit and/or discrimination yourself(or at least have witnessed it) want everyone to treat you as a person, yet you yourself are prancing around and discriminating against others just because they are different(basically the same thing that is happening to you)?

    Dat logic...

Similar to Tai, when news stories mention a "transman" or a "transwoman," when saying "man" or "woman" would have been just fine for the purpose of the story.

I get bugged when my (female)friends say that I don't act femminine enough to be Gay...Although, I'm actually a mix of femminine and masculine...

I hate people that think that just because someone ain't straight means always they throw their sexuality down someones throat (literally), when not all of the lgbpqaarcptgagbggnetc. community are like that.

    If that makes sense...

"Did you have a sex change?"

While I'm flattered that I pass well enough for you to think I had top surgery already, That's really not an appropriate thing to ask, never mind the insulting wording of it.

-Monosexual people who say "Bisexual does not exist"

-People who refuse to date multisexuals because "they would feel unfulfilled" or "they would cheat" or "They'd always be thinking about the other sex"

-People who hate on Asexuals and say "it's impossible to be Ace"

    -Stereotypes for each orientation

-The stupid "LGBT people were abused as children" or "have mental issues that make them like that" argument

-People who say Pansexuals are just Bisexual hipsters :/

    -Homophobia/Biphobia/Transphobia/etc

-Any LGBT person who hates on another orientation, despite the fact that they understand what it's like to be ridiculed for their sexuality/gender.

-People who pretend Aromantic people are emotionless robots/psychopaths

Okay, there's way more than that, but the list goes on. :/ However, mostly, the LGBT community is a brilliant thing.

A guy I knew was talking about one of his friends, and said that his friend "used to be gay." I was like, "dude, I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way," and he comes back with, "uh, yeah, you can choose to be straight."
I then quit the Skype chat and found something less stupid to do.

So, the "it's a choice thing" is definitely a big one for me.

People who ask lesbians how they have sex, or say "that's not real sex". Really? You are so boring and unimaginative you can't figure it out? Wow, I feel sorry for you and your shitty sex life.

If I could like this post I would. Apparently we're just 'fucking weirdos'(to put it briefly/nicely) though, according to numerous people I've run across... :rolle:
