Oh my goodness, that website is soo good! (www.theonion.com).. Even their commercials are meant to be a ridicule of something! But then I wonder where they're getting the funding from, because these people seem quite professional to me!

I think this could also be looking at just how sensationalist the News really is. Not just in this parody but outside of it as well. They need a "feel good story" So why not play on homosexuality- overcomming all those dicriminations- A pretty good story to sell. So be happy. As long as gays are discriminated, the news gets a story to make someone say "That's horrible" and we get each one of our stories told one step at a time. I can't wait till I get to tell the story of being the only gay walrus.
