If two homosexual couples (two men & two ladies) where on a large jungle island, with no hope of rescue, ever, would you be in favor of biologically breeding to grow a human population on the island?

Unless the two women and two men intend on having hundreds of children, it won't go too far, due to the genetic issues that would arise from other pairings. You could, maybe, avoid that with a cousin relation, but parent-child or sibling-sibling is too close to work; even if there's an exception or two, nature would dominate chance.

If you're asking me personally, goodbye humanity...

I wouldn't be interested in doing the hippity dippity, but maybe the other three would...

No what benefit would having children offer other than waste resources, and time we should be using for actual surviving.

No, but the reason would be because why would I want to raise a generation on a deserted island? There would be very limited resources and practically no way to ensure the survival of my youth. There would really just be no point.

With reference to inbreeding concerns. Well ya there is the issue of genetic diversity, but lets ignore that "situation" for the moment.

No. Agree with the above comments. Seeing as there would be no hope of rescue, we would become friends and help eachother survive and build our own paradise.

Nope, I've never seen the point of continuing the human race just for the sake of it. So I would have no reason to even think about it in this situation, considering the human race is just fine outside the island.

No! And besides, it's a deserted island. There's no need to ruin it by populating it with humans that will just destroy it.

What reason would there be to do that?

No, I don't see why you would want to populate a deserted island. LOL. It doesn't matter whether humanity exists or not anyway.

I don't see that there would be much cause too unless that's what the couples wanted, in which case, more power too them... Otherwise, is there really a reason this would beneficial?

I don't see why they couldn't just build a stable boat, gather some food and equipment and head off in the direction they came from? I mean, there's 4 of them. I'm pretty sure they'd be able to row out to safety after a few days.

I could try, but I'll have trouble staying hard...I'll probably have trouble putting it in...
Whenever I see a vagina, I just think to myself:
"How the hell does this damn thing work?"

    In one word, NO!

I wouldn't be having any of it. I would live with the other guy on the other side of the island away from the women
