Hi all, Whilst perusing the archives of EC a question entered floopily into my mind with the willomie of a distressed mattress... (some may get the reference more than others) Is there possibly a finer block of chocolate than that of Cadbury's Old Gold Roast Almond? "Surely not!" I thought... But... Recent experiences have left me a little less jaded and a smidgen more open minded and so now I wonder. What am I potentially missing out on? Picture for reference only. Do not eat your screen.
You sir are an ass. I just stopped by Walgreens on my way home from work and bought a giant Hershey bar. I get home sit down check EC and have to look at THAT. Thanks a million for ruining my treat...... I swear, some people's children. LOL
It looks quite delicious but for me I prefer a more sweet tasting chocolate like Cadbury Old Gold Rum and Raisin flavour, I also love creamy centres in chocolate

I couldn't give you a picture of the most amazing chocolate I have ever tasted (and eaten five blocks of in one sitting), as it is handcrafted in a mountain town in Ecuador and I have been unable to find any other Ecuadorian or otherwise chocolate that quite measures up to its taste that I could post a picture of. Just take my word for it.
The Lindt Dark Sea Salt and Caramel is pretty damn addictive! Also, not sure if you have any Haigh's stores in Melbourne or not, but their stuff is normally really good.
I tend to go overboard with chocolate every now and again like stuffing a whole half-pound block down then I can't stand the sight of it for the next few weeks before doing it all over again.
I know what you mean except for me it was a doughnut shop. It was in the town I used to live in about 8-9 years ago. The guy made doughnuts from scratch and it was a family recipe. The shop went out of business (many rumors as to why ...not paying tax, selling drugs, health department shut down........). Since then I have had some pretty darn good doughnuts but there is nothing that has ever quite been paradise (shop was Paradise Doughnuts).
Also, you'd gosh darn better believe this just happened!! I think I'd be more than happy if this thread degenerated into pictures of chocolate
Annika confused is being. Package dark chocolate says, but milk is picture chocolate clearly. Rouge Warlock explain? Is magic?
I snicker sometimes when dessert advertisements call their products "sensual." But with the pictures here, I'm definitely feeling overcome. My tongue can practically taste it; my nose can practically smell it (which is weird ... I barely have a sense of smell at all.) If this was in front of me right now I'd have to make a massive effort to resist it. I'm very disciplined though, I could do it, but I'd be kicking myself every second. So yeah, I can't think of any chocolate that I'd like more than what's been posted.
You caught me out. It was a stock picture that I found on the first post! The shame! To make up here is a pic I took :3 This is all that's left after last nights 2 blocks...
