Lawsuit claims Beneful sickened, killed pets - CBS News I've stopped feeding my dog any food from the big stores; PetSmart, Walmart, Petco, etc. I only shop at independently owned stores now. I was unaware of the harmful products in my dog's food until I started dating my girlfriend, who is a dog food specialist. I've noticed that my dog eats slower, nibbles instead of inhaling her food, and stays full. I know some of you might find this information useless. I'm just hoping someone who sees it realizes how important it is and switches their dog to the healthy stuff.
