    Searching on the internet (about LGBT things) usually brought up EC (in the top results), and it seemed to be a very nice forum, so I joined. :icon_bigg It definitely helped me SO much!!

    I wanted to come out to my parents to let them know that gender issues had been driving me crazy for a while. But I wanted some idea of how to do it, and to see other peoples' stories as well. That's how I came across this site, first result on a google search.

    I think I typed in "coming out LGBT forum" or something to that extent.

    I found it how I find most things. By running to google like "OMG WHAT DO I DO :help: :help:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:LEASE HELP ME WITH SUCH AND SUCH A THING :help: :help: !" I believe the such and such a thing at the time was advice on how to come out.

    I didn't have anyone to talk to about my feelings at the time so ofc I searched around for a forum or something and this is one of the first ones that showed up, so I checked it out...and ended up staying apparently.

    Found it while googling for stories of closeted homosexuals - mostly lesbians - struggling with their sexuality. I needed some research for making a lesbian character for my novella, and I love sad, depressing stories. Pitying girls fearing their own ability to love makes my narcissistic, frozen heart thaw for a while.
