So I had a driving lesson today and I did fantastic! according to the instructor and myself xD. I will be taking the drive test this Thursday and since I passed the mock test I will most likely pass the actual test! im so excited! I will be a licensed driver this week! now all I need to do is work on getting my own car and a job...not in that exact order =P. I shall update this post once I get my license in my hand and in case if I somehow fail ill update it as well but doubt that xD. Quick question for anyone who works....how much of your day does it take up? do you still have like Friday nights and Saturdays/sundays to yourself to do what you want? is it a 8am-5pm kinda thing or varies? im worried I wont be able to do what I love once I work or at least very little time but probably a unfounded worry but one all the same lol. im slowly moving on up in life! getting my license then a job then a car then a house xD.
Hey, good luck with that. I'm trying to work out employment, I'm a 18 year old high school senior. Seems like most guys our age work part time, sacking groceries, fast food, changing oil in cars, stuff like that. If you've never had a job before I'd expect a less than glamorous job, probably part time, with limited flexibility. That being said, I have a few friends who work full time, and pretty much everyone I know can have Friday or Saturday night off every now and then
Congratulations! It strongly depends on what you want to do and how much of it. You'll definitely have to give some of your time up. But you get money and money is cool.
So I passed and finally finally got through the dmv and my license will be mailed to me soon!!!! So excited!!!
