I am applying for a position in my work place to be a representative. . . and because there is another person interested, we both must go in front of our peers and say a blurb as to why we are interested in the position. I am ready to do this, just need positive vibes sent my way so I won't trip! Thanks Will know tomorrow or the next after peers vote to see whom will be the rep.
Good luck in your speech! Try to remain confident, and like you're the one who is there to help them, and best represent their interests, and you'll knock 'em dead. Well, not literally...then they couldn't vote. =p But I hope things go well...speaking in front of people can be very energizing, I've found.
