Are your parents still anti-LGBT even after you came out?

Have they still voiced anti-LGBT views even after you've come out? Do they still believe the whole gays are going to hell thing?

Also, have you tried convincing them that gays aren't going to hell? Did it work? And if they are accepting, have they switched to a more LGBT-friendly denomination?

I'm just curious becuase I just can't imagine how it'll go when I come out. It's looking like my parents, especially my mom, will remain anti-LGBT for the remainder of their lives unfortunately.

My parents were the most anti-LGBT people you could ever imagine. They had sick, sick views.

It took my mom 2 months and my dad 2 years to come around, but I'm happy to say that they are both fully on board with everything. There is hope!
