While jogging last night, I had quite a bit on my mind. Most of which was personal, but one thought started forming and dominated much of my night stroll, which was:

If you died and went to the afterlife, and could ask [insert supreme deity here]
    3 questions,
    what would those questions be?

Be as silly or as serious as you want.
As for me, I have class to attend shortly, but wanted to post this before heading out.

    Was it destiny?
Did you expect the results you got out of <this>?
    Was it worth it?

    Did you create yourself?
Does this all have a reason somewhere?
Did I make a good show?

I'll probably come up with better ones in 1 hour or so...

    1. What is Ash Ketchum's secret for staying 10 years old?
    2. Why do males have nipples?
    3. Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Lol! Joking aside, here are my serious questions...
    1. What is my mission in life and did I finished my mission?
    2. Did I atleast changed one person's life for the better?
    3. After my death, will the people I left be happier?

I would prefer to watch. listen and learn instead of asking questions.

If I have to ask questions that would depend on many factors... like if I can see thru space and time.

I would begin to have a rather gentlemanly conversation with said deity and we would talk for hours about science and history and a great number of subjects.

    My questions:
    1. Well Mr (supreme deities name) I would like to inquire about the purpose of life, Why are we indeed placed into the world.
    2. Mr (supreme deity) (If I was young and my boyfriend was left alone all by himself) Will my partner be happy in the future(therefore making me truly happy to know that he will be happy)
    3. I wish to indeed question you about some things, is your purpose indeed what everyone says or are you as I believe just a guide to help people live.

Why would I ask myself questions? LOL

I only have ONE question, and it fits everything.......

    WHY?

(that is, IF there really was such thing as an afterlife deity)

I will just start with the obvious:

    Who the f**k are you?!?!

And is every single fiction ever written, no matter how absurd, actually happen somewhere? (I want Doctor Who, Discworld, and so many things to be real)

First, I'll be happy that I can meet God.

    Then, my questions would be....
    1) What is the purpose of life?
    2) What is the duty of every human being?
    3) Will You grant me salvation?

I don't believe in a god or a heaven or hell. As I would think it is a hallucination of the last moments of death, I'd probably ask it "Why am I not in hell?" Then laugh and await eternal nothingness.

    1) What was the point of living that life?
    2) What is my purpose now that I have finished the last life?
    3) If you created that world, why did you do such a shit job?

I only have ONE question, and it fits everything.......

    WHY?

There are two correct answers to this question: Why not? or Because.

    Questions to the Supreme Being:

    1. Did I make an impact on this world?

    2. What was the purpose of our existence?

    3. Why did you allow me to fight my being gay for so long?

For all intents and purposes, if you ask it, it will be answered accordingly by this deity. So yes, you may see through space and time, if it pertains to your question.

    1) What did you expect from me?
    - I have my own theories as to what I'm supposed to do, but it seems rather cruel. I'd like to think there's some kind of point to my experiences, and that I'm not simply intended to be 'another wheel in the cog for why bad things happen'.

    2) Can you create something so heavy you cannot lift it?
    - I suspect an answer along the lines of "There is no point to do that, because it is meaningless." But I'd be more comfortable around a humble deity, who could admit they had limitations. Some would argue that means they are no longer a deity, but to them I say, you obviously have not read up on your mythologies, those guys... had their vices and flaws.

    3) Why did you give me the ability to socially engineer, but the inability to be loved?
    - This is probably what I'd want to know the most, because I find it rather frustrating that folks will appreciate and even praise me, for what I do and can provide, but it stops there. People want me on their side, but not at their side. It sounds absolutely silly, but sometimes I think I'm supposed to be a nuisance to society, because there is a serious lack of affection and love. Most (not all) of everything in my life comes off as a struggle, and when I do succeed, it's usually (not always) through pulling strings or using a silver tongue. I'd like to confirm that suspicion, once and for all.

I considered asking for a chance at reigning supreme, but any deity should know better than to give me absolute authority... let alone over an entire universe. I would either shame them, or succumb to the maddening effects of cosmic-level power; neither are ideal for a deity's status.

It's funny how people either see a higher deity as someone very kind or a complete asshole..

It probably has to do with life experiences and general views on the world...

    Perhaps.

Personally, I believe any deity has their favorites. Or at least those they prefer. You can look in almost any cultural or religious text and see that. Some folks just make the world more interesting when they're in a certain position, or involved in a certain situation, while some folks just make the world more entertaining when they're not in a certain position or situation.

To sum it up, creation is probably one big reality show, only this deity is able to add to it as opposed to just watching: diseases, heartache, war, inventions, and so on and so forth.

I'd say my view is more of a realist. It's what makes sense to me.

That's why i like the gods in mythology more...there are human therefore it's more understandable if they pick favourites.Parents or teachers always have favourites too...but if you think about a higher deity that isn't really human and probably also thinks different it becomes hard if not impossible to understand.

(ok the roman and Greek gods are too narcissistic and jealous to be 100% likable characters.gotta give it to the norse gods here...i mean the great Thor wearing a wedding dress?it's simply awesome!(except what they did to Lokis children that was simply close minded assholeness)ok fuck..i'm rambling..i better stop now)

If a god actually existed I would only have one question for it:

Why did you never seek out help for your mental health issues ?
