Okay so I finish school last week and im on holidays until 29th Feb 09.

Has anyone got any clues for what you can do for almost 4 months that doesn't cost lots of money and gets you out of the house as much as possible?!

What does everyone else do on their extended holidays?

Ignore the fact that 29th Feb doesn't exist - was going off an old calender.

Hell, I have no idea...I only get two weeks out of school for winter, and then I usually stay indoors.

It will be summer here for those months. ^^

  5. Well being the fantastic nerd that I am, I tend to find some interesting coding project to get entangled into. I also like to make my internal clock do cartwheels in time.

If you like theatre, you could usher for alot of shows in 4 month. See a show for free and you get to wear a badge that says usher.

I second the getting a job proposal too.

You could take classes at a community college. I'm not sure how the system works in Australia, but you could take art or Introduction to Coversational Polynesian Languages or something.

Yeah.. community college doesn't really exist in Aus - I guess the = would be TAFE, although it's rather expensive :frowning2:

A holiday job would be a great idea - there are loads of resorts and other cool places that offer summer jobs during these holidays. Can't believe I didn't think of this before! Excellent idea ^^

You could volunteer at a blood bank, a homeless shelter, a soup kitchen, or anything else you deem worthy.
