What are some of your stay hidden in the closet rituals?

I don't parade my gender around because it'll only cause me grief (and make it harder to go stealth) in the long run.
I'm less guarded about my sexuality, though, so I simply don't confirm anything.

 

i have a beard, normally have a shaved head but i got to the point where i just couldnt stand it any more so now its down to about my ears. i avoid the womens clothing sections in stores as much as i possibly can. i always watch what i say and make sure i do t ever comment on something i think is cute. the hardest thing for me is i tend to be very emotional and cry very easy which is ok if i am alone (some times i actually kind of like to cry only if i am alone).

 

I avoid looking too long at attractive women. I even avoid looking at attractive men because I'm scared of being pressured to date men. I also avoid mentioning pronouns when I talk about my crush.

 

Just not, discussing it. And when I do, not specifying the gender.
Not using a lot of expression in my voice: any man without expression can generally say anything and still be regarded as "masculine".
I openly perve. No one will remember "the guy who perved at another guy" in 5 years time, just don't do it too much for too long.
Talk to everyone equally. No nervousness, no interest.
"I don't think I'm gay, I just don't think about it." < Not completely lying, but hiding.

 

On my computer, I can do an incognito browser whenever I go to this website or one like it so whatever I search does not show in my history, like I am doing now.

 

I do a chant ritual every morning.

I do that three times a day and that seems to work.

 

Definitely the Computer history thing. I always go incognito whenever I search things about sexuality. Even though I have my own Laptop now and don't live with my parents anymore I still do it. On my phone it's the exact same.
When out in public with some friends or relatives and I see someone I'm attracted to of the same sex I look in the other direction.

 

Aside from the incognito tab when searching for queries and questions, there isn't really much that i do to try and avoid it. I'm just not much of a talker, and none of my family really ask me about my lack of relationship, or what i look for in a partner etc. So i don't really have to avoid it.

 

I clear my computer history every day, I avoid prolonged eye contact or flirting with any gender in order to keep people from telling me to date (insert girl's name here) and to keep people from finding out I'm gay. Other than that it's just a matter of being careful when I mentions pronouns and little things like that.

 

Internet history is the main thing.

Staring isn't really a problem. I get away with it.

 

I am either out of the closet, or not bothered if I am outed...but when I was actively trying to stay in the closet I simply avoided the topic of relationships, dating, hot guys, hot women, boyfriends, dates, romance, sex, hooking up, marriage and having children. Pretty simple, really. : P

 

Giving myself a self inflicted bad haircut.

I'm not kidding, that's what I do, I'll just grab a pair of scissors and chop off my hair in clumps.

 

When i was in the closet i deleted my computer history and i tried not to look at guys. I avoided tbe topic of who i like.

 

I have my browser configured to never remember history, and I run a VPN at all times. I also avoid talking about my crushes, and if I'm accused of being in the closet I'm always ready to fire back a joke that will buy me more time.
