    My insides yearn for you.
    Your touch was so comforting.
Your hand in my hand was like something from another world.
When you would try and get physically close to me I cringed due to fear.
You asked me once why I refused to hug you.
Every hug I would give is another chance for me to feel the hurt I have inside if you leave.
You aren't gone, but still present in my dreams and life.
You said that you would allow me in and now I am stuck
Stuck because you said we should be friends right now due to things going on.
Patience is my enemy because all I want is to be close with you-emotionally and physically.
Every chance I have to be in the same room as you allows me to feel closer to you.
Listening to music drowns out the suffocation I feel right now.
I miss you as though I would never have a chance to see you again-even though you are still here.
I miss our conversations, your understanding, your presence.
I understand that things are hectic, but I want you to know that I am here for you.

Very soft and nice tone to it! I've written some myself, though never about love... ^^

She wants me to show her some of my writings....just nervous.

I like writing poetry about anything.

Written about the war that still is happening in my head, death of a loved one, the world events that are occurring etc. I can usually come up with one pretty quickly. I just wrote that one in 5 minutes.

Oh, that is really fast for such a long one! I have one I could share, but maybe it'd feel a bit 'foreign', out of place, it's really political...

And do show her that poem!

When I see you from a distance my heart fills with light.
The guards that keep me safe feel challenged by the light.
Challenged because how does one keep the guards from blocking out the inevitable?
The inevitable of possibly getting broken from the constant rocks thrown at one.
It becomes a drowning affect knowing that my insides yearn for you, but are fearful.
Fearful from past situations from others.
You touched me and said you wouldn't harm me and or do something I didn't want.
The guards became smittened because it was the first time it was spoken to them.
Spoken in words rather than actions.
My insides became a wall crumbling down
and felt a sense of freedom
Freedom to feel for one in my life.
The feeling to touch and hear the words, "I have feelings for you."
The words I wish to hear again, however it is in your hands and I shall wait...
