    Sometimes, I wonder:
"How the hell can they not figure out that I'm Gay?"
The clues are all there...I don't have, nor have I ever had, a girlfriend...I've never asked a girl out...Every time a straight boy invites me to a strip club, or hire a prostitute, I reject...I show absolutely no interest in women whatsover, and they still can't figure it out...It doesn't bug me, after all, it's best that they don't know...It just amazes me that they're really fucking clueless...I'm only reffering to straight boys by the way, like I said before, almost all women figure it out before I even tell them...

Most people are blind about my sexual orientation. I don't mind most of the time because I'm pretty femme looking. I don't really show interest in anyone right now, but that's socially acceptable for a straight girl.

It really pisses me off when people don't believe me when I try to come out. That's caused a lot of anxiety for me. I also hate it when I dress nice for gay pride and I get male attention.

Why wouldn't people believe you? Do you mean friends, or have you come out to family too? I'm 26 and I definitely get questions about if I'm seeing guys. My mom always asks me if I've met any nice guys. I give her kind of vague answers but I've also had boyfriends in the past and I look straight, so...I don't think anyone "suspects" me either.

I've yet to encounter someone who knows I'm gay from solely seeing me and/or listening to me. In fact, they've always been surprised when they find out I'm gay. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And I've had people talking to me like "who do you think is the hottest girl?", it's not uncommon.

I doubt people would be surprise if they found out.
But I love surprising people :frowning2:

Being surprised as to the point as not believing you is not so much fun though.. I sometimes hope people know that I'm gay just from seeing me or being with me, so that it won't come as a surprise. But it doesn't go like that for me.

Most people don't know I am unless I tell them or make overt comments about it (and even then, they just think I'm being sassy, lolol~ I think being married to a man further cements the, "you chose a side" thing so... T.T It's so annoying, though... I want to be like, "I don't see a ring on your finger so you must be bi! You haven't chosen anyone yet!" :tantrum:

maybe people do notice but don't want to spring to assumptions just in case you're straight because most straight people don't like it when others get the impression they're gay.

I'm assuming you're not "stereotypically gay" which is a plausible reason for their ignorance or perhaps you're not yourself when around "the guys." I'm not surprised straight women have identified you as gay, before you've even disclosed it to them; many have an accurate intuition on potentially gay men.

I work with many macho/alpha males and they're always telling me about their girlfriends/who they'd tap as if I give a shit and it's never occurred to them that I'm gay despite me blatantly feigning interest and breaking eye contact. I don't care to tell them but if they ask I'll be honest like a bro lol

A lot of straight people just assume everyone is straight until proven otherwise. Hell, even when I prove them otherwise, some of them still try to convince me I am straight!

Most of people just generalise and use stereotypes where I live so they already have labeled me as a "closeted" gay/bi person.

Having people consistently trying to play 'matchmaker' for me (or the whole 'look at that *body/part*, etc.) with the wrong gender says something in itself.

Like you, I rarely ever express (genuine) interest in said gender(only will make some occasional remark if I'm thrown in a convo), so...

This is why I try to avoid such convos like the plague or, at the very least, fade away into the background once it starts.

It can be so frickin' irritating.

People didn't even think I was straight when I was "straight".

They were shocked when I told them, but only because they all thought I was a lesbian :/
My friends were blind in the opposite direction, I guess :/

I'm not stereotypically Gay...Even my female friends say that I look very straight...They said that they figured it out when they noticed all of the clues that I mentioned...I guess straight girls are smarter than straight boys...

I can generally tell when guys are gay because most straight guys seem to be attracted to every girl they talk to.

They also hit on them, like all of my co-workers hit on the maids...I never did when they first met me, obviously, so that was another clue for them...

My mom was surprised and didn't seem to believe me. She said she didn't see this coming. Oh, come on. She still thinks I'm bi and going through a phase. As if she can read my mind and know what turns me on and what doesn't.
Fortunately, she isn't a homophobe and wasn't upset, just caught off guard.

Sometimes I wonder how people can't tell with me. I'm more girly than some girls I know.

Thing is, the fact that I hang out with girls a lot leads some people to think that I'm a "player" rather than that I'm gay lol.

OMG! This happens with me too! My co-workers say that I hang out with the maids because I want to sleep with them...Sure, if they can get me hard:roflmao:...
