I read that and felt such a connection to it... I haven't and probably won't ever come out to my family for just that reason. I already left the country so I don't see them often, and I am financially secure on my own, but even though they wouldn't accept me for who I am, I still don't want to cut them out completely... it makes me feel like a fake, but I guess that's what life in the closet is T.T
