So, I was wondering. How do y'all deal with homophobes. Just ignore them, confront them, sit down and discuss it with them?

Personally, I prefer the latter option, just because I had a lot of internalized homophobia that I vocalized. I pity those who were/are in the same boat as I was so I try to talk it out. If that doesn't work, oh well, those bastards will have to learn the hard way

I guess the only thing I can really say is pick your battles. I've only once ever sort of blown up and called out a homophobe on their BS in person. My preference is to avoid confrontation & not have homophobic people in my life whenever possible. Homophobic people I have a hard time dealing with because I stick to logic & rational arguments, and you can't rationalize someone out of an argument out of an argument they didn't rationalize themselves into.
