I came out to a family friend via messenger. He is out and about, has a nice boyfriend, and is REALLY talkative. All of which I like. April 20, I am going to do some STAAR testing where he works.(I go to online school.) The thing is, I am really quite uncomfortable about talking about it. There will be a lot of other online schoolers there too. Mark (he is the friend) seems to be a little luoder than most people at least to me. What if someone else is near me and hears. I don't know if anyone would react badly if they hear that.:help:

This may just be seeing someone you came out to for the first time jitters.

Hello! I don't think you should get yourself too worked up about it!
I'm sure if you mention to your friend Mark about how uncomfortable it may make you to talk about things like your sexuality in a public place, that he'll do his best to keep it quiet and on the dl to make sure you're comfortable!
It's all about how you feel in that moment. ^_^
I hope you have a really great time hanging out with him, and have a fun time.
Also, best of luck on your testings!! (*hug*)

I felt the same way to be honest with you. The kid I first came out to is very out and openly gay and I told him via text but I still felt weird seeing him in person. He lives 4 hours away so it was a couple weeks between telling him and him visiting
