Where were you told babies came from?

No, seriously. I was told that they came out of women. Nothing explicit, but with that inkling of knowledge, it was fairly easy to figure it out from there.

 

They told me the truth, no stork bullshit...

 

I was told about the whole sperm/baby thing, but not the other part. I learned that by asking more questions.

 

I thought you were asking where you got "the talk." For me, it was in the car in slow traffic.

I don't think I was even told much more than "when a guy and a girl get married they have kids." Apparently I assumed they just popped out of nowhere.

 

I don't remember being told anything about it really, and definitely not any lie about it, but I do remember thinking as a little kid that babies grew inside the mother's stomach. I don't think I thought much more about it until I learned about sex and everything.

 

i asked this when i was 8 or so... couldn't remember my exact age.
they told me it grows inside the moms belly. when i asked another question about how the baby get out from there because i dont see any scars on my moms belly, their response and i quote "you'll know soon enough".

 

I never asked. I don't meet a lot of babies when I was younger so it didn't occur to me to ask, and I accidently saw porn when I was 10 and figured it out from there, putting together with biology textbooks from my seniors in my middle school.

I tend to figure things out by myself.

Well I knew they came from mummies tummies but I was told that they were put there if you prayed very hard for one (were not devoted catholics). When I was a tad older I was told the whole egg sperm thing and then I was 10 I was told the truth.

 

I was told the truth pretty young, but my parents mostly talked about the biological aspect of it. I did know that sex made babies, I still managed to be naive about sex. I didn't know what gay people were until I was ten.

 

When a sperm wiggled it way into an egg. I was a book nerd. But I didn't know that it actually required the penis to be inserted into the vagina. I thought male naturally produced sperm through their skin and hugging would enough to get a girl pregnant.

Well those 'fit the shape in the hole' puzzles helped me to figure things out somewhat.

Just kidding: in all seriousness, I was around animals from a young age - as well as watching animal documentaries - and just assumed it was 'same goes'.

 

I don't recall any made up stories about where babies came from, although I probably never asked. In grade 4 we had sex Ed so by that point I knew.

 

It was referenced to a lot in kids TV shows with kids saying they regret asking, so I played safe and didn't ask. I knew how baby animals were made in quite a lot of detail, though, but didn't make the connection that people must do it too. lol i was a stupid kid

 

I had a sister at the age of 4, and I had to be with Mom most of the time.
