I have a PS3 and I have a psn ID but I don't know what it is. In fact it is pushing 2 years since I played a game on my PS3. What do you use a psn ID for? Is it for multiplayer games or something?

I'm not much of a gamer, I only bought the PS3 because it was $300 cheaper than the cheapest Blu-Ray player at the time.

I've got an XBox 360, too, but I only occasionally play a round of Viva Pinata. Which verifies the bit above.
