  1. If you had to choose the sense that you would miss the most, which one would it be?

Mine would be hearing. Not because I'm an audiophile, because I'm not. The world just seems lonely, empty, and cold completely without sound. I'd even rather lose sight than sound.

(I'm including an "other" option for less conventional senses like intuition)

I love music, but sight is vital to me. Without my eyes.....I just couldn't fel like I was truly experiencing the world.......

My life would be but an empty shell without the ability to hear. My sweet sweet music. . . I would die without you. . .

I dunno. I'd say it's a tie between touch and sight. I could adapt, albeit with difficult, to deafness, but numbness or blindness would definitely be destructive to my sanity.

Hmm... I'd rank blindness just above numbness.

Sight. I don't think I could live without being to read, and I know there's Braille and computer programs and stuff like that, but I'd find it incredibly hard to handle.

You would probably die of infection if you lost your sense of touch. you wouldn't notice a giant cut in your leg or something.

    Ugh, tough choice.

But I'd have to go with sight. I couldn't imagine functioning without it. So much in life is dependent on sight.

Touch, certainly. It's easy to take it for granted how easy it is to manipulate things with your fingers, but once that sense is gone, so too goes your fine manipulation. It's also an extremely useful sense for those who are missing more than one, particularly deaf-blind-mutes (I know speach isn't a sense :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: ). For people born that way, the only means they have of learning and interacting with the outside world is their sense of touch.

Sight or hearing. I'm afraid of dark and silence, simply because you can't see or hear if an enemy is nearby. If you can see or hear them, you can escape. Plus, I love creative stuff, that requires you to have those senses.

If I had to lose one it would be taste or smell. I don't really care about them.

    I chose smell.
I'm pretty sensual - and I really notice how people smell for some reason. Like my friend kate always smells like her favourite (sunsilk i think?) shampoo and my friend jesse smells like his deodorant but it's not overpowering.

I dunno. Smell is huge for me. I value it a lot more then most people would given that I've watched my dad go without a sense of smell for over 10 years now.

I chose hearing because I'm a musician and I don't think I could stand it if music was taken away from me...what would I do without all my Celine Dion??

Sight. That would probably be the worse in my opinion to lose.

Sight, only because I would adapt better plus you need it to see cars coming etc. But I wouldn't wanna lose the ability to listen to music, it's my life =P

I KNOW this wont make much sense but I chose other. Like kinda our sixth sense.

I really relied on this sense like that de ja vu thing and that feeling trouble is comming your way. Well I listened to it once and I met one of my best friends in the whole world . But it would suck losing ANY of these senses.

Though I did choose the sense of sight, beware, we are all forgeting one of the most important senses there, the true sixth sense, the common sense

hahaha, i've learnt to live without that just fine :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I guess my senses that i get the most joy from are sight, hearing and touch, so i could deal without smell or taste tbh

Smell. I just couldn't do it, i can do without sight very easily (gives me an excuse to use my hands more :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) I need to be able to smell cooking, the city, and all those other wonderful things!
