What Turns You OFF?

Cheating, rape, or acting like they own me. There's a lot of other stuff that would bother me, but nothing so much as those two.

Just plain bad people. It doesn't matter if they are freaking Brad Pitt, if they are a bad person it goes flaccid just like *BAAM*, straight up nothing, sooo... bye bye!

Same goes for the opposite, someone who I might not normally be attracted to based on looks can become super hot if they turn out to have a really amazing personality.

 

Basically everything you've described, and also maybe if they were uneducated and couldn't hold an intellectual conversation, but I guess it just depends on the person.

 

Huge egos. Oh god, how I hate that. Also, when a guy has too much "swag".

 

People who don't like sex ... snobbish people ... arrogant people ... people who can't laugh at themselves ... militant people ... I find most turn-offs to be INSIDE another person's head. I neither want people like this for intimacy nor friendship.

If someone's looks don't agree with what I like looks-wise, I can and will still be their friend if they treat me reasonably well and with respect ... and don't have serious habits that will pull me into their vortex and bring me down. I'm not requesting that they roll out a red carpet for me. Respect and common courtesy are much more basic than that.

 

Shitty(read incompatible) taste in music. People that cant get through one sentence without saying "like" or other throw away words. Sloppy/lazy/boring people. Too religious. Bad hygiene.

Some people can learn to love others and ignore their political/religious preferences... But I can't. Maybe I'm just not mature enough. Sigh.

I had a small crush on a guy and then he said some very ignorant anti-Obama things... And... Well... That tiny bit of lust turned into disgust.

Drug, alcohol, sex addictions would be a turn off, and criminal activity. Also, ignoring me would be a turn off. I won't call it ignoring, because they hear me and choose not to answer, but more like they don't care enough so they don't pay attention to what I'm saying in the first place. I have enough friends who do that. I don't need my love to do that as well.

 

Straight people. What I mean by that is straight men who fetishize my sexual orientation and confused straight girls. I'm also extremely turned off by "nice" people. What I mean by that is someone who is boring, overly polite and kind of patronizing. You find a lot of people like that where I live.

 

All the stuff the thread creator said. Rape, murder, and stealing. Someone who is terrible at communicating to me I couldn't handle. Also this a just a personal turn off for me due to preference but facial hair. I really hate facial hair

I am turned off by men who fetishize my sexual orientation, girls who think they're everything, girls without good hygiene (luckily I don't know many girls who have bad hygiene) Bitchiness, Cold hearted, Someone who shows traits of narcissism basically and if they seem sociopathic or misanthropistic I will likely want to shoot them. I could fuck a girl with shitty personality but sexy looks but they are worthless to me in the dating department. Those are the kinds of girls I DON'T care about when it comes to guys calling women sluts. I only CARE when guys call the WRONG women sluts. Clearly guys turn me off completely though.. Like they are on the list. No shit though :lol:

I am turned on by girls who have a cute sassy attitude though.. like mary poppins style. My best friend in other words.. she's so cute and so lesbian! If only we worked out ♥ We are meant to be in eachothers life for a different reason it seems.

 

The obvious stuff like criminal activity, drug addiction, etc.

Being stupid. I don't mind if people aren't an absolute genius, but if they are just generally being ignorant, no thanks.

Excessive consumption of meat. I'm a vegetarian and I would date someone who ate some meat, but not someone who ate loads of it, especially fast food and bacon (I can't stand the smell).

Baseball caps. Extra bad if worn perched atop one's head back to front.

Nail biting. When I see someone biting their nails it makes me gag. I'm okay with other, arguably more disgusting habits, but I cannot stand nail biting.

Swearing/ general impoliteness.

People who don't lock the door when they use the bathroom (includes brushing teeth, washing hands etc).

Kind of do, even though I live a liberal area. I think I also encounter those people because I'm socially awkward. "Nice" people love to keep awkward people like me as pets. Don't understand why. Maybe so they can tell a bunch of funny stories about all the awkward stuff I do.
