    Today I married my partner of 11 years in a small ceremony at our local registry office. Even though it was a small and informal event it's still a very special day for us and I wanted to share the happy news with all of you lovely people on EC.

    A few years ago it was unthinkable that two people of the same sex would be able to enjoy the happiness of marriage, but the world is changing and the momentum is with us, I believe. So if you are struggling to accept or come to terms with your sexuality, think about what is now possible in so many countries and maintain hope as the 'winds of change' continue to gather strength.
