For those who date butch or femme

It would be a hard adjustment for sure, but I'd stick with them. What matters to me is if their core being in which I fell in love with would still be intact. If they also drastically altered that to go with their new look and personality then no. By that point they're too much of a different person for me.

I will not tolerate people changing their wardrobe, growing in their character, or experimenting with expression. You're going to stick to your role, damn it, and you're going to like it!

Two butches? Two femmes? Like, totally end of the world! There's a reason roles exist, and we should follow them, without question.

For me it doesn't matter how my gf wants to be. I love her for who she is. We actually spoke about different scenarios that wouldn't change the way I feel about her and one of them as if she decided she wanted a sex change I would still love her

Is this even possible? Does someone femme go "it's time to take this makeup off and start wrestling with some bears then"? Not really. People are just being who they are, who you fundamentally are doesn't change.

 

My wife is Butch, and recently told me she wants to be more Butch. Hot, I say. I only date Butch women, but I love her so we would have to work out the issues when they arose if she turned Femme. We would have to go to couples therapy for that issue.

But on another point all together, changing from Butch to Femme is not possible. It is based on your female masculinity and how you demonstrate it, or your Femininity and how you show that. You can't change your innate energy type, no more than you can change your sexuality. You can cover it up or choose not to express it, but you can't change it. You can dress so called Femme, but a Butch with female masculinity will present as not comfortable in a dress just like a Femme will be uncomfortable with so called Butch trappings.

 

i'd try but if my femme lover changed to a butch i'll just be honest we'll probably be having less sex :icon_sad:
