According to Urban Dictionary, a highly reliable source of information, if a guy wears a piercing in only his right ear it means he's gay. I've been considering getting my ear or ears pierced, and wondered if this is a legit thing. Cause if it is, I'll work with it but if not it doesn't really matter.
Ive heard of it. Its a thing here in the Philippines. Most of the "cool" guys or those who are trying to be wears earing on their left ear.

The saying I've heard regarding single earrings is "Lefty righty, righty wrongy." Slightly offensive to gays assuming it means they're wrong, but it could have some residual meaning to it.

Most people don't even think that there is meaning to how many ears are pierced. Get as many as you want - who really cares.
Thanks guys I was thinking if it was a legit thing I could use it to my advantage, but it sounds like it's confusing enough that I'm better off getting piercings however I like and rely on other ways to indicate my lake of heterosexuality, like hanging round gay bars or something
