Other LGBT family members?

    I have a straight twin sister and my mom has a gay twin sister, but I know many twins who both identify as gay or bi.
    In my dads family I have one cousin who is gay and his step sister is also gay, but that's where it stops on that side of the family.
    My aunt on my moms side is the only gay person in that family although there's only 4 living members on that side so its not a large pool.

    So I'm curoius. Does any one know any statistics on gay twins?
    And more of a general question: Do any of you have LGBT family members?

    As far as I know, I have two queer cousins. One is gay, and the other is bi(?) and married her partner recently in NY I'm guessing.

    I only know of one. She was a cousin on my maternal side. She came out and had her family meet her partner. *bam* No one wants to talk about her now! She's dead to the family. Bring her up amd you're pretty much screwed. If my family brings her up around someone, it's because they think that you're, and want to put you on the hotspot. They did this to me once. Anyway, it's a shame, because I would've loved to have gotten to know her.

    In my generation, it appears that all my first cousins are probably straight.

    Going back in time, however, IIRC there are several men in my mother's family who never married. Of course, they might not have ever met Miss Right. Then, again, they might have been gay. I know my mother had strong suspicious of a couple of them, particularly one who was at least slightly homophobic.

    None on my mom's side (that I know of), but one of my dad's brothers is gay. I have tons of younger cousins and second cousins, so the possibility is still there.

    My sister is a lesbian, and my dad experimented and stuff. Also, my (step-)grandma's sister is a lesbian, apparently. Though I have never talked to her. I might have other family members, but I don't know my family that well.

    We have one gay uncle... but he kind of "left" the family because of it and everyone only talks about his him in hushed tones T.T Another reason to stay in the closet...

    My elder ( non twin) brother is gay. He is actually the reason I joined EC. I've been out so long I needed to get a fresh perspective on what it must be like for him. I remember working years ago with a guy who was one of identical triplets. He and one brother were gay so I always had my doubts about the third triplet who was apparently straight.

    I know several other gay men who have gay brothers, and one who has a gay brother and a gay father.
