    The problem with hard shell is that it collapses and doesn't serve its purpose of being a food container very well. The texture advantages (that people mistakenly imagine exist) are overcome several times over by all the leaking sauce and inner bits just because you took two bites out of it.

    Hard shell is a complete trash idea.

    Glad to see most people are voting correctly.

    With soft tacos, you can put an extra shell on your plate to caught whatever falls out of your first taco. By the time you are done with the first one, you have a whole nother taco.
