You are absolutely right. Being yourself is truly the key to happiness. Let yourself be moved by the currents of life rather than fighting the flow. Once you stop struggling, life will take you where you need to be. Just be patient and keep your head above water.

Ugh! All of you, blithering softies! It makes me... sick! All this talk of loving yourselves, and embracing diversity. Madness! Complete and utter madness! But I agree with it. Be the person who makes everybody's day a little brighter, brings happiness to people's eyes, and stands by people who need friends. Be the shoulder to cry on, the ears to listen, and the eyes to see the beauty in other people. But most of all, be that person for yourself. Notice your beauty, and make YOUR OWN day brighter. Because you can't be the light of somebody else's life, until you turn on the switch.

Sometimes life makes you forgot who you are when you focus on being someone else... Sometimes being a good son, good mother, good employee exceed you, shadow you. Then you stop and think where is that person you've used to be. Actually while we think we are different our humanity brings us to a common ground. A little bit of empathy takes you several miles further in road of being a decent human being. Ummm...
