So as it says has anyone ever had someone walk up to them whether it while walking around or something and either give you his/her number or ask you out? Had a dream this happened to me while at red lobster one day so just had to ask lol. If yes what were your feelings on the matter?

I never have and I think I would be too scared to. I don't really deal well with rejection and all my past relationships stemmed from friendships... That being said, I would LOVE to have the courage to do so.

This has never happened to me & I think if it ever did I'd just think they were joking. I'm actually kinda glad people don't approach me a lot. I'm not that interested in dating, etc. most days.

I tried my best to, but I kept chickening out every single time. Later on I added her on facebook and asked her out for coffee, then got rejected. *Not a very encouraging encounter*

Does being chatted up where a person had to come over to you and force the conversation count? If yes, then, yes, but less than a handful of times. The way I felt depended on whether or not I was interested in them, either as friends or for a FWB situation. In most of these cases, I wasn't, so I was polite and hoped they got the hint.

I've had people (randoms) walk up to me and ask for my number. Does that count?

I used to have it happen to me a fair amount--especially at the gym. I always took it as a compliment whether I wanted to go out with them or not...

Never immediately. As with Tightrope, there are been situations in which I have been approached and asked after a casual conversation.

I've been told that my resting face can be intimidating. I've never felt that way and frequently start conversations or offer a smile to others, but I have noticed that if someone is not naturally social/outspoken then they will never approach me. Long story short, I attract a fair amount of intense stare-ers.

At first I read this as if it were asking if -I- ever have done anything like that, in which case my response would've been hell no.

Oh wait, I think that response is still appropriate because I haven't had anyone actually ask me out before.

While I was working once a guy and his friends bought something from me and then circled back and he asked me out. (It was a jewelry store and the single guy bought something; ackward, yet cute.)

Yep. But it was a girl. And I wasn't out. So that was awkward.

Nope, but I think the experience would interesting and my response would for obvious reasons be a nor to girls and depends on the guy to weather I say yes or no

Yeah but it was someone I knew from school(though not well....like I just knew his name) and he was a creep so I didn't go out with/call/date him.

Yes, I was out on an early Sunday evening when out of the blue someone I'd seen before asked me to go home with him. No pick up line. Just an I want you now. It's not really a date per se, but that was the only time something similar to the described situation occurred.
