What do you tend to think about before falling asleep?

Usually my family (and particularly my nephew and unborn twin nieces), love or stuff like history.

 

The future, my heaven on Earth.

 

Not really. Recently, I've been sleeping at around 4 AM and I'm thinking of "I hope I don't need to pee 'cause my dad will catch me staying up late!" (He prepares to go to work at 4)




(No, really. I fantasize about a boyfriend who sings on stage with me, or a football player boyfriend who is not super hot but we click together, I watch his games and he watches my shows.)

 

I usually find myself thinking about either random ideas, or people... so

Usually, I either think about what I'm going to do tomorrow or since I check my social media before I hit the hay - I always check my instagram last and just psyche myself out on the food stuffs. So my mind is literally like this:

Nowadays tend to play tablet games 'till I can't keep my eyes open. So not much thinking.

Usually stuff about comics, stories and life.

Most interesting one however... at least for me... I tend to slept immediately whenever I was thinking about him... He always had that calming effect on me. He is being my last "boyfriend"... we were never officially dated but we were together and I loved him. That thing called love can do weird stuff to me.

 

Totally random, but most of the time it's about my girlfriend or creepypastas

 

Usually about scenarios that could happen in the stories I write.

 

Usually I think about the day's events, or problems.
It seems easier to work out a solution then.

 

By the way, what sort of scenarios do you write about Spacesword?

 

Sometimes about the girl I'm seeing. That gives me happy, fuzzy feelings that make it very easy to drift off to sleep.
Sometimes about what I'm writing at the moment, or want to write. I get some of my best ideas just before falling asleep.
Sometimes, if there's something to look forward to the next day, I'll think about that.

 

Everything, literally. I spend about 2 hours just lying there thinking about random crap. 'Have I shut the windows? what if a door was unlocked and someone got in, could I actually fight them off? Is the oven on? Could be, no it is off, you sure?' So on and so on. But the main thing at the moment that has me thinking, is who the hell am I? I have started to spend most of the night lying in bed staring at the darkness trying to found who I am. to no avail, I still have no idea, well I do know who I am, sort of, just no idea what I would call myself. And I have to have a way of explaining who I am to people in just one phrase so I do not have to keep explaining my whole life story. <---And that is every night.

 

Different things. It depends on the story I'm working on. Mostly lgbt related though.

 

EVERYTHING! My mind is filled with every feeling and emotion and crazy thing possible before I sleep... I guess this is one of the reasons I have insomnia T.T

 

Here is the norm:

'I should get my hair cut, I mean look at this; it could be a scarf.' *proceeds to wrap hair around neck like scarf*
'Oh, I still have boobs. Grrrreeeaaaat.'
'Man, my dog snores loudly.'
'You're going to die. Your whole family is going to die. Everyone is now dea-wait, that's horrible.'
'So much arguing.'
