Well... It's election day in the UK. Yup. So who do you think will win and wgo do you want to win? Results come in at 5 am GMT if you want to know.

In my opinion, it's either going to be labour or conservative, even though I kinda want lib dem to win because of the 'promised' lowered tax rates, and even though in paper Labour would be good, they'll probably be pretty shoddy because of the... Ed Milliband-ness of Ed Milliband, which will probably end up having England be in load of debt.

Just my view, made this thread to hear yours!

I make no apologies for wanting another Tory-Lib Dem coalition.

It'll be a hung parliament resulting in another term of conservative and lib dem.
I don't mind they did well in their last term (apart from the bloody tuition fees) the only thing the conservatives have said that made me confused is them making a law to prevent themselves raising the taxes. Seems stupid.

From another post, but the first exit polls are coming in.

DUP now has 8 and Others at 11

And I always want the Polka Dot Cymru to win. It's just not fair!

But on a serious note, looks like the conservatives will be calling the shots...I was really hoping that the lib dems would do better. :frowning2:

It's a little ironic how Clegg pretty much sunk his own party though. I don't think anyone is surprised to see the Lib Dems drop.

I'm not surprised. I think it's hilarious how Clegg basically sunk his own party.

Does not matter who wins the election. Either way no matter who is in, it is always a tosser who runs this place.

YouGov just released a radically different exit poll.

    YouGov Exit Poll:
    CON - 284
    LAB - 263
    SNP - 48
    LDEM - 31
    UKIP - 2
    GRN - 1

On those numbers things will get very messy, but even though Cameron will have more seats Miliband will have more friends. Clegg (if he survives) will negotiate with Cameron but I expect those negotiations would fall through since the Lib Dems probably won't have the stomach for another term in coalition (at least with Tories). Miliband would have a better shot at passing his Queens Speech so it'd be more likely he'd emerge as PM. But really I think a very damn likely result on those numbers would be another election *sigh*...

Also goes to show how unreliable the exit polls could be for this election.

I'm banking on the Liberals. If the Cons win and pull out of the EU, as a bloodline Italian citizen, my exit strategy from this hellhole is gone.

I am absolutely delighted with the exit polls so far  My constituency is the same size as Northern Ireland and is always the last one to be announced so I'm pretty damn anxious! It's so big they charter a helicopter to collect ballot papers!

The Tories have just won Labour's first target seat! Con 21,000, Labour 15,000 Lib Dem 800. That's a tragic result for the Lib Dems!

I believe that it will be a coalition between the conservatives and the lib-dems again but I would rather have a majority Labour Parliament!

Douglas Alexander has lost his seat (Paisley South), he's been MP since 1997.

    It's a Portillo moment.

It's painful to see that so many people are that gullible to vote SNP. But then again Hitler was voted in by the people...

The Lib Dems just got 80 votes out of 45000 in one constituency, that's 0.17%!!

Jim Murphy (Scottish Labour leader) has lost his seat. Scottish Labour are going to get thumped next year if he's still leader.
