I like nice girls who do crazy, "bad" things. Rule followers bore me.

I'd probably date a bad boy/bad girl just to see how it feels, but really wouldn't really see myself for the long term with that person.
Nah, I'd much rather prefer to date a straight-laced person. Besides, they say nice people make the best lovers :icon_redf:thumbsup::icon_wink

Bad boys, especially smart, rebellious sorts. My first crushes were mostly on punk/alternative sorts, the kinds of boys that laughed at society and its arbitrary structure, and sometimes got in trouble. The ones who might also read Camus and Nietzsche at a young age, smoke joints, and be great skaters. There's more of an appeal to those who don't follow dominant cultural norms to me, both then and now. Goody-two-shoes sorts have never held too much appeal, expect possibly to corrupt!

I'd say angel, not a rule-follower but a good one, a nice one, somebody who understands people who cares about others, things that I really can't do.
I'd be the rude social-clumsy and sometimes-so-mean of the couple, I don't need an other...

I'm not into "bad boys", but I also don't want a guy who's a doormat. You can be an "angel" without being a total people-pleaser and letting people walk all over you. In general, however, the "rebel" types don't do much for me.

Well, queer-platonically and friend wise it doesn't matter. If you're kind to me (and sometimes, even if you arent) I'll happily consider you a friend.
I have both in my family so it doesn't matter.

So long as he is not a bore I do not care. But then, I would not want a total rebel either. A geek...Now that would be perfect...A geek with a penis and I am happy.

It's kinda hard to choose, both would attract me in a different way.
But I guess I would go with a bad boy as long as he takes responsibility for his actions.

I think this sums it up:

There's a particular balance that I find most appealing, and it mixes both ends. However, I like reliable and resourceful people around me, and this would be especially true in terms of romantic endeavor. For me, usually, I notice this more in so-called "bad boys/girls". I'm not expecting MacGuyver or Wonder Woman (though either would be nice, no lie, LOL), but be handling your business while I handle mine, and then we can handle our business.

Have something, and go for it. It may not be easy, but give it your all. If that requires you being assertive and RAWR, so be it. But don't forget, there's no shame in wanting to cuddle or not littering. Talking about your feelings or letting somebody get off with a stupid remark, doesn't make you any weaker or dumber.

The true bad ass is the one who strives to get ahead, to improve themselves and their world, not the one who runs that stop light to show off to the other lane. Reckless defiance is not sexy, it's quite immature and very annoying. Plan that shit, damn it, have a point beyond "I R TUFF, GRRR~!!!".

Stupidity is not cool, except to maybe stupidly impressionable folks.

To condense it:

Pick your battles. Too many times, folks exhaust themselves trying to win one battle, leaving nothing to win the war. Knowing this is the center of that good-bad balance that I like.

Kindhearted but someone who isnt afraid to grab my hand and take me out of my comfort zone even when I appear to be resisting.

I want a combination of both. I can't deal with a chronic lawbreaker or someone who can't handle taking direction / orders, but I also wouldn't be able to deal with a do-gooder all the time - especially not an overly religious type.
