That means there's a queer person in each one of the family braches. We all had the same response as well when we came out to our parents, "That doesn't run in the family." My father walked out of the house, my cousin's mother almost did, she settled for going to the kitchen and started cooking. Just felt the need to share, we had the conversation during the annual Mother's Day celebration (as long as you're no more than a state away, attendance is mandatory). I feel quite guiddy, too bad they had to leave just when the conversation was turning good. That makes 3/10 of my generation of family members (cousins and siblings) queer. 3 of them are too young, 1 is straight, 1 unknown, and the other two are too far away to know.
That's quite a Mother's Day Surprise for their Mom *laughs* Congrats for your cousin's through, and hey; maybe it does run in the family? *laughs*
