I think it is till too big, resize it on online GIF resizers. I personally use this site: Animated gif editor and gif maker If it still didnt move, resize it smaller again. It is trial and error. Good luck. You might want this

Just a note: When it comes to .GIFs, for some reason, putting the URL sometimes causes it to operate improperly. I'm not totally sure why this is, but it works better to save it somewhere, then upload it. Also, the size dimensions are 100 x 100 or 200 kb, for this forum. Despite that being the case, when it comes to .GIFs, you're better off making the size 199 kb at most, because, even if it says it is 200 kb, there is a chance it will 'round up' and thus not work, when used. Sometimes, 99 x 99 may work for getting around issues, but this one isn't as necessary as the size, so long as you don't exceed 100 x 100. Or, you know, you could ask me to take a crack at it next time. Same goes for you, Gandalf.
I don't know how to either. Reading explanations makes my head hurt because I don't know what the fuck people are going on about. Tech isn't my strong point.

Well, animated gifs don't work for me at all, as avatar or signature. And I have tried resizing them...down to the smallest they will get, and still, all I get is a pic, not a moving gif.
Darling, you're smart in other areas, I'm sure. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to certain things. If you have an image you'd like to use, let me know. I'll see if I can figure out why it isn't working for you.
Try doing what Kaiser said for your avatar. After resizing it, download it then upload it. BUT the animated signature is the tricky one, unless youre using the simple ones like this
The signature space allowance is only 64 kb. A huge difference from the avatar space allowance of 200 kb. It's really hard to get an animated signature, when you're limited to that. But it can be done, if you're willing to compromise or cut some corners.
I'm not the best at tech but I would say I'm kind of okay at it, but I do tend to ask for a lot of help but I also do like self help stuff as well. by looking on the internet if I get an error I don't know what it means and I try what is suggested and if it works I tell others if the problem pops up.
