Does anyone else just zone out sometimes and just go into a different world?

I know that this sounds abit silly but I find it happening to me alot... I will just start thinking about things and enter a dream world and then people will be talking to be and I will be like "what?" and "Huh?"... This happens to be quite abit and I am just wondering if anyone else does this, is it normal :help:? lol...

I do, some times I'm not even here and that's intense.

That happens to me everyday, especially at school and church, lol. But usually, I get lost in my thoughts and don't recognize what's going on around me until I keep walking past the destination I'm supposed to go and have to turn back around while feeling embarrassed.

Phasing out is my number one talent since the day I was born. Happens effortlessly and constantly for me and it only gets annoying when my thoughts become repetitive and don't allow me to think about "better" things.

That's sort of my default state. It's fitting I think our purpose here is to bring about the next level of consciousness, but unfortunately that means committing ourselves to not spacing out and acting like we're there already. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

When I zone out for too long, I get quiet and empty-feeling, so I try not to.

Yes. It's nice to turn your brain off for a few minutes, like a brain break.

Yes!! It makes me feel a little crazy, but it helps me, especially when I'm not within my comfort zone, which is often.

I do it all the time; particularly comes in handy when you're stuck in a convo with someone who just doesn't know how to shut up, heh...

Yes. My 3rd grade teachers even contacted my parents about it.

I still do it so much. I just get so comfortable in my little world.

I agree with this. Especially when I'm with company. I try to keep a positive energy and talk as much as I can muster up.

I had mini "seizures" of sorts due to being a preemie. Especially as a child, I would drift off. In fact, it happened so often in music class during 4th-6th grades that my music teacher called me "Duh" and bullied me. As time has gone on, they have become more voluntary.
