What Makes a "Man/Woman"?

What makes a real man is a man that loves a woman and what makes woman a real woman is a woman who loves a man... lol

It honestly should never matter. I am all for individuality.

 

Is it being prepared to do the right thing? Whatever the cost? Isn't that what makes a man?

In what sense?
If you mean, in a gender-y way, if a person says they're a man/woman and mean it, they're a real man/woman.

If you mean in a hypothetical way (only a REAL man uses this brand blah blah blah), they have to be strong-willed and confident.

Though, of course, they do say 'manners maketh the man' or something like that

A woman is made by her kitchen skills and her weakness which means that you as a noble man aren't allowed to hit a woman unless you're married to her.

typically, a man is defined by having a penis and a woman is defined by having a vagina - though that isn't always the case as we all know - but it's typically a good rule to follow.

the presence of a menstrual cycle is also a good indicator. if the person in question becomes a moody cow from hell every month then they are probably a woman.

In all seriousness, I don't know. And I guess I don't really care too much.

People try to define it by stereotypes and gender roles and that doesn't work. People define it in terms of biology and that mostly works, but it doesn't work for trans people. Seems like "real man" and "real woman" are largely arbitrary designations that you can take away from someone once they break your own personal ideals of what a man or woman should be. "You lost your man card". Can't tell you how many times I've heard that from friends.

All I know is, I may be effeminate and gay and small and 15, but I'm a man as far as I'm concerned No one can take that away from me

Usually the men can be found in the kitchen peeling potatoes and the women are found in the forests chopping woods, or is it the other way around I can't remember.

Well biologically a male homosapien has a penis and a female homosapien has a vagina. But then there are also those who are born intersex.

I don't believe in "psychological" gender. I think it's too hard to specify what is male and what is female psychologically, while biologically it's much easier to specify. Sure generally male and female brains are different but I don't think the differences are sharp enough to actually define the whole population half and half. I think every individual is different on that level and "gender" is not really necessary.
