Does depend on the style and if the guy is capable of growing something that doesn't look nasty. However, my general view is "yes".

It all depends on the person's style, really.
But personally I have never liked it so much.

I have never liked a man with a beard, and I don't know if I ever will.

I agree with the general apathetic consensus so far.

With the exception of lone mustaches! I will never understanding shaving everything but a small patch on your upper lip. I am not one to make a big deal about any feature, but that is one thing that kills me.

It really depends on the person...I am not that into masculinity and much prefer femininity. But on some guys there are exceptions....Robery Downey Jr and Johnny Depp to name just 2!

Well obviously it depends on the face but most of the time it's a plus for me.
Oh but I agree that some moustaches are creepy.

Yes, I do like facial hair on men, but not lone moustaches. Just keep it kempt.

I've been told I look better with some facial hair. I have trouble shaving and some acne scars, so I usually just trim and keep a 5o'clock shadow look.

I think guys can look good with stubble, but I'm not really into much more of that. But it's hard to imagine me looking good with it, as someone who doesn't have any facial hair yet :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Nay. I like a clean-shaven look.

    And this.

Depends on the guy and what they have going on.... Beards are definitely a no, especially when it's hanging inches over the neck...

But this was, and still lingers on as an iconic look of gay men in San Francisco (and other places of similar concentration), for whatever reason...I thought you'd be required to like it, as a matter of state law!

Though it always did puzzle me why one would want to look like a toned down version of the Village People. Maybe it was a way to identify each other?

    The Gay Moustache/Advocate Story

But I agree: It is a look, and especially one among gay males, that definitely turns me off. It sorts of reminds me of police, who are also prone to this look. I'm the sort who has never found uniforms at all appealing, as they remind me of authority, hierarchy, 'the system', and for me, are a symbolic antithesis of my own crotchets.

Some guys pull it off. A lot don't. It's not enough to put me off a guy but most look better without.
